There are a number of decent headlights out there... Most are not cheap, but I think the Pro Comps are at a decent price. Not đồ sộ mention their lifetime warranty.
Here is a liên kết đồ sộ a thread with some good discussion on headlights.
Searching for quality Led headlights
Super excited, picking up my first Jeep tomorrow. There has been a lot of talk about replacing the oem headlights with Led. Is there a brand that is better then the rest or are they all about the same?

I will add my $0.02 here. For background, I had a năm ngoái Sahara with the dreaded factory incandescent (halogen) headlights. Attempting đồ sộ go the cheap route, I went with the eCode headlights with the H4 bulb and while it was an improvement, not all that great (especially compared đồ sộ LEDs). I then installed another mix of them in my '03 TJ replacing the 12 year old factory sealed beams.
In 2017 I traded off the năm ngoái on a 2017 limited edition Chief (based on the Sahara). starting in năm nhâm thìn I believe, but definitely for 2017 and 2018 on the Sahara and Rubicon trim levels the Mopar factory LED headlights and fog lights were standard. What a difference. The result was that in 2019, I installed a mix of the Quadratec Gen II LED headlights in my TJ. As I live out in the country, I have had a good amount of time đồ sộ compare the two at night not only on the highways but on the back roads.
On low beams, they are just about equal. I would be hard pressed đồ sộ choose one over the other. On high beams however, I think the Gen IIs are a touch better because of the cutoff of the top of the light beam. The Gen IIs vì thế a good job of illuminating up đồ sộ about 20" (as seen on the pine trees on the side of the road) and then there is a cut off. The Mopars however, light up đồ sộ about 40' or more. On a clear night both will illuminate down the road for a long way on high beam.
The Gen IIs from Quadratec for the JK are $350 a pair and go right into the JK headlight buckets and include the anti flicker module which also serves as the H4 đồ sộ H13 adapter. The same headlights for the TJ are a bit less expensive as they vì thế not include the anti-flicker as with the older electrical system it's not needed. The Mopar headlights are still available, but a major pain đồ sộ install and are $1260 for a pair. They are mostly on the replacement category for failed or damaged lights.

Let bu tell you from experience, don't buy the cheap sub $200 LEDs that most vendors sell or that you can find on Amazon or eBay. You WILL regret it. I tried out some Axial brand Chinese crap out of curiosity and a better usesge of my money would have been đồ sộ mix it on fire. Anybody who tells you otherwise doesn't drive their Jeep at night or just wanted that Halo look for their DRLs during the day.

Mopar LEDs are great but I was not aware that you could buy them for a 2013 JK. Nice one. The heated TruckLite LEDs are now over $1,000! Last time I bought them there were lượt thích $495.

2017 LED take offs aren't hard đồ sộ find and I think it's what a lot of us with older JKs try đồ sộ find. I'm waiting on mine đồ sộ arrive, then I'm going đồ sộ get rid of my KC H4s if possible.

Be very careful when buying take off JK Mopar LEDs from 2016-2018. They vì thế NOT mount in the industry standard buckets lượt thích other LEDs. They replace the bucket, retaining ring and headlight with one unit. They snap onto the same three studs that the buckets snap onto, and that is whey they are marked L and R. The only way đồ sộ get them off, is đồ sộ pry them off, and many times one (or more) of the clips will break when they are pried off. I only one is broken, then no big khuyễn mãi giảm giá, they will still be held in place, but if two are broken then they will be loose.

Be sure đồ sộ ask for photos of the backside of the lights. I was shocked at the 50% increase in the pricing, but since they are no longer being used on the assembly line, the number produced has likely gone down and hence the costs have gone up.
For those that have the JK Mopar LEDs and are contemplating taking them off and going đồ sộ something else, keep in mind that you need đồ sộ order the head light buckets (L and R) and retaining rings đồ sộ hold the after market LEDs. They come as a 6 piece mix - buck, retaing ring, H13 headlight and 3 screws for the retining ring. The last I looked they were $200 a side.

More good shots of the extremely sharp cutoff and mega power high beams... The Pro Comps really are a great headlight.

Very good recommendation Pressurized. The rounded front shape will also help with snow/ice. The flat LEDs tend đồ sộ gather the ice/snow.
Also, they are not $1,000+

Good point! Here in AZ I simply don't experience the weather issue and usually recommend something with a heated element, lượt thích the Grote 64H71-5 for places that khuyễn mãi giảm giá with inclement weather regularly. But if the curved lens helps, that's good đồ sộ know.

I'll look into them. Thank you!
Do you live in an area with ice/snow? That matters with after market LEDs for the JK.
I'm sorta in the country in KS sánh we see some snow but the factory ones I have are just generally bad in every low light situation.
I’ve had the JW speaker headlights and taillights for years. Been very happy with them. Very bright!

JW Speaker are great lights but I think their headlights are flat, right? I had their fog lights on my năm trước and considered their headlights but they did not make a round or heated version back then. They are very bright indeed.

They are convex, just lượt thích OE. Quadratec sells heated ones that are made for them by JW Speaker.
But FWIW, heated has pros and cons just lượt thích unheated. I lập cập unheated here in NH, year round, all conditions, 30k miles a year, and I don't feel an overwhelming need for heated ones. Your conditions in winter would be the deciding factor. Cold winters with mostly cold dry snow, unheated is better.

I have KC Hilites and absolutely love them. They are great on low beam and are lượt thích offroad lights on high beam. Have been running them for 4+ years now without issue. They have a 23 year warranty as well. They have spoiled bu for headlights and I hate that my 2021 Ford F250 doesn't have LED lights sánh I am going đồ sộ test a solution for it as well.
