galaxy s6 goggles

**WARNING** This apparently only works with Note4. If you are planning on upgrading soon đồ sộ an S5/S6 or Note5, get the Samsung Gear VR (NOT innovator edition). I loved this. I bought my Note4 a COUPLE MONTHS before they released the 5, and I didn't know it, so sánh I'm going đồ sộ have this phone for a while. This is why I bought this. IT IS WONDERFUL. I watched the presidential debates on CNN in VR... it was lượt thích watching an old 320x240 tube TV (showing my age) but it was live streamed, so sánh you can't expect perfection. It was such an amazing, and immersive experience. I also loved the VR stuff, the horror games (good lord! I can only play for a bit) and the live stuff. Imagine, walking through the streets of Thành Phố New York with a Vice reporter during the march against police brutality... I DID! ***WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW*** Get some eyeglass or eye wear anti-fog wipes at the same time. If you have a note5, the new gear VR has a built in người yêu thích đồ sộ keep down fogging, and has a pass-thru đồ sộ power your phone while it is being used. This is why I tell you that if you think you might upgrade đồ sộ a note5, get the gear VR, NOT the innovator edition. You're battery is going đồ sộ lập cập down in under an hour. If you are using a graphics intensive ứng dụng (like a driving game) your phone will overheat. If I am playing the cart racing game, after about 15 minutes my phone will start đồ sộ overheat. I had đồ sộ take the back panel off my phone, then hốc a pan người yêu thích aimed at my face (back of phone) đồ sộ prevent the overheating issues. Regular VR experiences DO NOT cause this issue... so sánh a lot of the VR environments and slow moving games bởi not have this issue. Also, you need đồ sộ keep the optics CLEAN. I wear glasses, so sánh I have a gentle glass cleaner and micro-fiber cloths. GET THEM. Finally.. if it isn't already obvious... you need đồ sộ take your case off. It fits only the naked phone đồ sộ the best of my knowledge (I haven't tried đồ sộ force my phone in with the case on). I have an Otter Box... and its a pain in the neck! With all that said, if you are going đồ sộ keep your note4 for a year or more, BUY THIS. MOST AMAZING FUN. It is not fully mature, but apps are being added constantly and it's a lot of fun. VERY EDUCATIONAL FOR KIDS!!!!! There are some really amazing apps that are E/I. Also, you should note, it runs on oculus technology, and they are trying đồ sộ "control the media" sort of lượt thích iTunes... its a bit annoying because there are a lot of 360 videos on youtube, but there is no youtube tư vấn, and when you plug your phone in, it goes right into the oculus software, so sánh you can't mount the phone then use Google Cardboard ứng dụng đồ sộ watch google stuff :(

(NOTE: I bought this product when it was on sale for $99.99, I'm not sure I would pay more phàn nàn that for this unless you were really into this kind of stuff.)

I have never experienced any type of VR gear (Unless you count Duck Hunter on the NES as VR.) , so sánh obviously I was very excited đồ sộ try this out. If you are viewing this product I'm sure you have read that it only works for a few phones, lượt thích very few as in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. But if you have one of these phones you should really consider this if you are wanting đồ sộ try out a quality VR experience.

I personally love the Samsung Gear VR and am very happy that I bought it.
The following contains a list of pros and cons pertaining đồ sộ the product.

Pros:
- Very entertaining.
- If you have friends or family that have never tried something lượt thích this they will most likely think it's awesome if you give them the chance đồ sộ try it. ;)
- The ứng dụng store for it is growing all the time and some of the games in it are VERY entertaining. (Temple Run is quite a nice time kill)
- Comes in very nice packaging with a cloth đồ sộ clean the lense and an extra cushion bit incase the one that came preinstalled on your gear vr gets damaged. To be more clear the cushion rests between where the goggles meet your face.
Cons:
- As I have seen in other reviews, the headset gets quite uncomfortable after extended use (40-60 mins), putting pressure on the bridge of your nose.
- Referring đồ sộ my former con cái the cushion that rests between your face and the goggles is quite thin and really contributes đồ sộ the goggles becoming uncomfortable for extended use.

Even though version of Gear VR I own is quite old (for S6 Edge), I think this review is applicable for any Gear VR versions before or after.
So I bought this (innovator edition) almost 2 years ago now, đồ sộ test VR. Is it any good? Let’s get into the details then.
First is build. Headset is made almost entirely of plastic which makes it quite lightweight. It is strapped from sides and top for maximum safety (top part is detachable). It feels much better then any cheap VR headset as it should. Warning! You can’t wear glasses with whis headset!!! Overall build is great, but not for the price. ⅘
How about functionality? Well it is quite nice. Headset works with phone screen. In my case 1440p screen, which looks crisp. Not perfect but better then most of VR headsets. There are quite a lot of apps and games, but 2 are must own, Netflix and horror game Dreadhalls. This is where headset shines. Other phàn nàn those included VR cinema is amazing as well. I use headset đồ sộ watch movies on plane. Nice noise cancelling headphones and you may even forget you are on a plane.
But how about other functions? Well, not much, other then VR experiences there is not much đồ sộ bởi. Games are limited and apps are too. ⅗
Overall bởi I think this is great purchase? Yes and No. If you already own Samsung Galaxy phone and wish đồ sộ experience VR, then yes. If you already have other VR headsets lượt thích HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, then no. There is not enough nội dung for it. You will use it for a few weeks (months maximum) and forget about it. Not because it's bad, but because it lack nội dung. 4/5
