Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2023 I got a pack of these sheets and used them on both a new scar and an old scar. I wash my skin twice a day and pat dry with a clean towel, then apply the sheets. So far the new one is healing way faster kêu ca scars usually heal for bủ, and the old one's even looking a little better after a few weeks. I've tried other scar gels and strips, and none worked quite this fast or well. I'm not excited about the price, but I don't want to tát use anything else because these work ví well. A few tips: - These don't stick to tát my skin very well. I tried using a bigger size sheet but it still falls off halfway through the night. So I found 3M Micropore tape (paper surgical tape that doesn't pull on skin, and has tiny pores in it to tát let air through) on the NewGel trang web, you can also get it on Amazon. I cut the silicone sheets to tát be a little bit larger kêu ca the scar, then I tape them down. It holds really well, I don't have the issue anymore where the sheets fall off. - If you're washing and reusing these, and they're losing stickiness, wash them one more time with a dish soap and then use a hairdryer on really low heat. It seems to tát make the stickiness come back a little.

Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2023 My dermatologist recommended this product with cortisone treatments, and it helped to tát dissolve several keloids I had from surgery on my neck. After the cortisone treatments stopped a few months later the keloids started to tát reappear and using the strips alone did not help. I am currently getting additional cortisone injections and using NewGel+ patches and gel 24/7. Everyone’s skin reacts differently. NewGel+ is worth trying.
Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2022 These might work better for others but for bủ, they are really too thick. I needed them for my nose and for an incision along my upper back. Once I saw them I knew I wouldn't use them during the day but thought maybe they'd be okay at night. With the thick edges they get pulled off really easily. Woke up with the piece I'd cut for my nose attached to tát my arm. :-/. I'll be trying them along my back in a couple days, but I'm guessing I'll need to tát cover them with some sort of tape to tát get them to tát stay put. Xem thêm: decorative storage boxes with lids The other brand I've been using is very thin, stays put and, if you'd lượt thích, you can just leave them on until they finally lose their adhesion. On my back that was nearly 2 weeks (they say 10 days). On my nose, I take them off more often but the first piece was in place for about a week before I changed it. Plus, the other brand is a LOT less expensive and available at my local drugstore. It was the brand recommended by my surgeon. <Follow up> After my review was posted the seller contacted bủ with some suggestions. I appreciate that they took the time to tát tự this.

Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2017 I've bought both the clear and flesh colored. I purchased after an arm lift ví I need it from above the elbow to tát the armpit. Clear - better looking, less obvious but it rolls badly. Flesh color - more foundation to tát the gel backing ví it doesn't roll as badly. But it will still roll. If you're active, the strip will grab and retain dirt along the border. This does not wash away. If you sweat, it will come loose and need to tát be reapplied. If you're not lucky, it will fall off and adhere to tát whatever it hits. You may never find it again. As far as improving the scaring, it seems to tát be helping. At this point, I've only used it about 3 weeks and it seems to tát have improved the scaring somewhat.
7 people found this helpful Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2022 Getting these gels to tát stick was very difficult. They were constantly falling off. I expected better ease of use for the money. Some help with scar reduction and I would recommend them for someone with more patience kêu ca bủ.

To keep the strips from rolling and/or falling off I try to tát hold them in place with a tight sleeved top. That has been very effective.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not sure if these are the real NewGel strips.

I underwent surgery in feb of 2021, and was buying silicone strips of the same brand from my surgeons office to tát treat my scars. However, not wanting to tát travel there this time, I looked through Amazon and found these. Though the packaging on these is almost identical to tát the ones I received from my surgeon (all identical except the silhouette of the lady on the front is all white on the ones I’ve bought from my surgeon), these are much less sticky kêu ca the ones I’m used to tát. They constantly fall off, and hence don’t tự the healing the claim to tát tự at all. I’m thinking either that these are not the original strips (despite being the same price!), or that I was sent an older package. Either way, I’m disappointed. Buyers beware!
