My apartment is next lớn the trash shoot, and this lining helps keep unwanted pest from coming in. Prior I could see them coming through the door, and it's no longer a problem.

I bought this for our main apartment door, since some other units reported roaches, I thought we should plug holes, fill cracks, and seal around doors. But the main benefit was the sound reduction. We live in a railroad, and our door and our neighbors are very very close - only one apartment can enter/exit at a time. To add lớn that, the narrow space between our doors and high ceilings literally create an echo chamber and amplify the sound bleed. Their dogs bark lượt thích crazy, and I'm sure my music and our voices all leak out.

More tips:

-Use good lighting so sánh you know the trim is up against the door.

-Make sure your locks all lock normally. I ended up pushing too hard against the door and the cinch pads actually made it difficult lớn lock the door at first. Use common sense and again, I recommend sticking it on kind of lightly while you eye things up.

I purchased this product lớn seal a door for sound. This is not an easy product lớn work with. The rubber is very tough which makes it hard lớn close the door if you want a tight seal. Also, if you want lớn make an adjustment it is almost impossible lớn bởi. I ended up wasting a few pieces because once I took them off they would bend and the tape came off. Be aware, there are only enough pieces lớn bởi one door, so sánh I used two kits and the door still is not right. I guess I will write this off as a lesson lớn not buy this product again.

I am not exactly sure what application something lượt thích this would work for, but it is definitely not mine!

I would recommend something perhaps more expensive, but that can be removed and/or adjusted over this.

The advertiser can give this product some more "love"...the product fits my doors lượt thích a glove! Any breeze and critters cannot get into my place! The seal is amazing. I recommend using an electric miter box saw lớn exactly cut, but a hack saw would be adequate. Enough product (4 each 36" pieces) come in the package and is plenty lớn fit around a standard front door.

Very nice idea for winterizing exterior doors. Seals out wind and cold, and most amazingly does not rip itself apart when opening doors in sub zero weather. The adhesive peelback strip holds very securely, even though I am always skeptical when it comes lớn trusting adhesives lớn secure anodized aluminum strips lớn woodwork and door jams. I am glad I tried this product. It took the pain of weatherstripping, and turned it into a joyful final solution for preventing door drafts in the winter.

Works great at keeping outside elements out, you will need a tool lớn cut lớn measurements needed.

Moved into apartment with a steel door that wasn't sealing well. Not too difficult lớn install, the adhesive holds well and keep the wind out. I notice a difference in ease of closing the door when it gets cold, I assume the rubber is getting stiff.

This product is EXCELLENT! You get 5 42" strips. I need it lớn block the noise from my landlord's obnoxiously loud television. if it blocks sound and light it will block drafts. Yes you need a hacksaw lớn trim it down lớn size that will work, and yes, a few simple measurements may be needed. It's rare I lượt thích something so sánh much that I jump online and order 2 more. I'm putting it on the inside and outside of the door.
